Baja Style Rebuild

We took this old Teardrop in on trade in demolished it to its base and rebuilt it into this little Baja Style Teardrop. We were able to salvage the trailer base and passenger side window but the rest was a total loss. Seems the original builder neglected to water seal the floor and rot set in. That is why we build all our trailers with an aluminum bottom and vapor locked floor. All said and done it was a good feeling bringing this old trailer back to life.

This Teardrop is built “Baja Style” with oversized wheels and a heavy duty off-road trailer. The Cabin has a door on the drivers side with a slider window, an oversized passenger side window and roof vent. The cabin is 4ft by 6 1/2 feet and fits a twin sized bed. This camper is ideal for a single person or a couple of small stature. With its high profile and ultra lightweight it can be taken just about as far in the backwoods as you want to go.
